Who We Are Looking For

At Healing Haven Academy Of Homeopathy, we believe the most extraordinary homeopaths come from diverse paths — career changers, mothers who’ve seen homeopathy transform their families, natural health practitioners seeking deeper classical training, or anyone with a heartfelt calling to heal others.

We assess each application individually, focusing on your passion, maturity, and commitment to classical principles. Formal qualifications are not essential — many of our strongest students arrive as passionate beginners.

Minimum Entry Requirements

Start by completing the application form on our Apply page. You’ll be asked to write a short essay (around 500 words) sharing why you feel called to classical homeopathy and how you plan to use your qualification.

You’ll also upload supporting documents, including:

  • Be at least 18 years old at the course start date

  • NCEA Level 3 equivalent (or higher) is preferred, but we warmly consider passionate applicants without formal qualifications on a case-by-case basis

  • Demonstrate English language proficiency sufficient for study (we assess this naturally during your interview conversation)

Biomedical Sciences Requirement

As part of the Diploma, students complete biomedical sciences (Anatomy & Physiology Levels 1 & 2 – Level 5, Biochemistry of Foods – Level 5, Nutrition 1 & 2 – Levels 6 & 7, Pathophysiology 1 & 2 – Level 6) through our trusted partner, the South Pacific College of Natural Medicine (SPCNM).

This results in a Certificate of Personal Interest.

You can complete these courses as a prerequisite or concurrently during Years 1 and 2. The next intake begins 9 February 2026 (online delivery).

These courses are not included in Healing Haven Academy fees. We will go over the information at your interview.

If you have equivalent prior study, RPL may apply (see our Recognition of Prior Learning page).

The Admission Process

  1. Submit your application (including essay and documents)

  2. Join a friendly 30-minute Zoom interview in January

  3. Receive your Offer of Place if it’s a mutual fit

  4. Pay deposit and set up payments to secure your spot

Code Of Conduct

As part of our supportive community, we ask all students to:

  • Show respect and consideration for everyone in our community

  • Care for our shared spaces and resources

  • Refrain from smoking, alcohol, or illegal substances on Academy property or during events

Code of Ethics

Our students and graduates commit to practising with integrity, including:

  • Prioritising client welfare, comfort, privacy, and informed consent

  • Maintaining confidentiality (except where required by law or to prevent harm)

  • Avoiding guarantees of results and respecting other practitioners’ work

  • Submitting original work and upholding academic honesty

Withdrawal & Refund Summary

  • Full refund (minus admin or RPL fees) if withdrawn within the first 14 days of the course start

  • No refunds after this period, as payments are spread weekly across the year

If special circumstances arise, we’ll work with you compassionately — including possible deferral to the next cohort.
